It's after 10:00 p.m., and Charlie and I are finished with helping break down the Arts Festival. We made six or seven trips back and forth to the office today hauling crap. A huge thunder storm broke out at the end, but I was not struck by lightening (surprise!). And neither was the house, though the lights flashed alarmingly a few minutes ago.
Today was beautiful, sunny and mild until the storm finally broke after dark.
Now it's time to get back to having a normal life (if you can ever call my life 'normal'!)
Gotta get more flowers planted, get the deck cleaned off, get the bills paid and get back to some serious fanfic effort -- finish "Fecund Knight," "Paris' Confinement" and get some chapters done of "Boromir's Elves" (if I can stomach LOTR long enough). Oh yeah, and finish "Scars"!
I was touched when Andy, Kelly and Dani all gravitated to me tonight after the pizza party. I'm going to miss Andy and Kelly so much, I can't stand to think about it. Glad Kelly is so happy right now with Pete.
Will I try for the Seattle job, or won't I? Gotta decide this week.
Last night we went to the final showing of 'Sith,' and I liked it much better the second time. Too bad HC can't deliver dialogue -- he's physically amazing. Now we have to see 'Batman Begins' and 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith'! (And 'Kingdom of Heaven' is in second-run around here, so we probably only have a week or two to see it before waiting for the DVD. Too bad it did so poorly.)
In five days we get a whole weekend off. I haven't had that in a couple months. What will we do with all that time? (refer to the above paragraph)
Better go change clothes and scrape off some of the grime!
- I feel:satisfied
- I hear:"Never Gone" (nice Howie vocals)
