We've had snow for two days with schools (and thus our office) closed. Tomorrow schools are opening two hours late, so two of my meetings have already been postponed. Luckily we can still work from home, although I didn't get my blog entry done (and now I'm a week behind). I need to do a better job.
I did the treadmill again tonight. I have to be (AND STAY) determined.
In the meantime, I've watched a lot of tennis. Am I going to be able to stand years of watching Andy Murray? I don't think so. Maybe he won't live up to his promise. (Why does he remind me of a geeky contestant on 'American Idol'?) Well, at least Brad Gilbert got another coaching job. They actually showed a lot of Hewitt's match today, which gave them a great opportunity to criticize everything about the guy. American tennis flacks HATE Hewitt. I was surprised he broke with his longtime coach. At the moment they're playing Sharapova's second round (live) and she's creaming some other Russian chick. Whoops. She dropped a game.
We've watched the first two episodes of the first season of Rome (12 episodes total) with the interactive stuff turned on. You get constant factoids about Roman life and an occasional extra bit of info you can choose to read or not. I'm sure the audio commentary will be fascinating, too, but we're not quite ready for that. We bought the collection on Monday, and it's fantastic (in a very nice box).
Hope I can drive in the slop tomorrow. I don't need another accident (since the one in October turned out to be with an uninsured driver).
