I spent most of today sleeping, after going in for a 7:30 meeting this morning. I could barely drag my butt out of bed and throw on some clothes and Charlie's Davis Cup cap, but the meeting was good and I got a couple other things done that needed doing. Of course, since it was my day off, it still sucked. I told the officers this was the FINAL time I was working on my day off, except of course for tomorrow when I'm going to a meeting with my boys singing group. Hehe.
Well, I'm not complaining. I have a great job, and we have great leaders (who are now going to come in and decorate for the holiday, since we just can't muster the energy to do it).
Charlie's birthday was Tuesday, the day of our board holiday party. They sang 'Happy Birthday' to her at the dinner! That was very nice and certainly unprecedented. And speaking of the party, I had to take the ridiculously long link from yesterday's (MSN) 'Ten Things You Shouldn't Do at your work holiday party' and mail it to several people, since I've been doing all too many of those things for years. Yikes.
Gotta go play some games now.
