I can't believe what a productive day I had yesterday. I felt lousy, so I actually stayed home from work . . . I figured I'd sleep since I watched tennis all night, but instead I started playing with graphics again. Now whenever I get the urge, I've usually forgotten everything Charlie taught me. And it's frustrating as all hell.
But this time I just played around until I got annoyed. Then I 'walked away,' took a little time to do other things (like lots of screencapping), went back and tried again. And I had a blast! I even made a little Arthur kissing Arthur manip.
I also decided to write a 500-word drabble, then was inspired to write another ficlet. This is the first fan-based stuff I've written all year, and it was so much fun!
There was tennis all night again. I finally fell asleep after watching Djokovic running around without his shirt, wrapped in the Serbian flag. (No, I didn't have any good dreams that I remember . . .) I missed the men's doubles final, but I woke up in time to see Roger jump on the ground and roll around on top of Wawrinka. I knew those pictures would be all over the tennis slash communities this morning, logged on to LJ and VOILA!
, even animated icons! Lovely.
I'm glad Roger got his gold. How perfect if both he and Rafa can get one . . . and I almost felt sorry for Blake, since this will be his only Olympics. I say almost
because his whining about Gonzalez and his questionable sportsmanship was just another example of how petulant he can be. JB, you lost the match. Get over it.
