Halfway through November~

No, I haven't started NaNo yet, but, yes, I did finish my challenge fanfic. It turned into a 5,000-word story, and it was more graphic than my usual fare. Anyway, I was glad to get it done. Even though today was supposedly the deadline, it only seems like a dozen or so of the 40+ prompts were used. Maybe the mods will extend the deadline again.

Djokovic won the Masters Cup, which is kind of ironic. He started off a winner and ended up a winner. In between he did well enough to be #3.

Naturally, by the time the finals played here on some lower-level sports channel, it was long over. It seems like our tennis-viewing future is doomed, with the Tennis Channel messing things up instead of improving them. I dread to think what's to become of the US Open.

So, Nadal and Federer were both wounded; Nadal pulled out and Federer lost. And then Andy Murray ran out of steam after beating Federer.

I watched the last set, knowing the next big tennis is more than two months away. Overall, it was a great year, with Nadal finally coming to the fore and Andy Murray maturing as both a player and a man. Now, when it comes to the women, don't ask.
