Mistress Marilyn's POV
No shit, Tempus Fugit!
I'm a Winner!

I feel like dancing!

I finished Nano at around 7:30pm. For some reason the last 1500 words was like torture. I actually felt like I was running out of words today.

But the final words I wrote on this first big piece of my eventual book were "I'm Jess," a pivotal moment in the story.

Wow. I'm so glad I did this, as much as I resisted. I wish I had some arbitrary deadline forcing me to finish the damn thing next month. I have to make this one happen!

Thanks, Becky! I just might use that project to help get my novel finished. I need to stay focused.

Thanks, m'dear! I can't believe how exhausting writing can be. It's ridiculous.

You did it -- as I always knew you would (though I had me doubts about ME).

You ROCK hard!

I'm proud of you -- and love what I've read so far of what you've written. It's going to be an awesome novel.

Can you believe it's finally over? I feel both relieved and let down a bit...

What a month.

(What a life!)

I'm exhausted. Now I have to get myself up for finishing and trying to shop the thing, before I lose my momentum.

(But I also want to write some fun things, do some icons, work out and play Zuma. I feel like my life was zapped the past two weeks.)

Thanks, Kyra! It's still a long way from ready for reading. Hopefully I'll finish it in the next month or so and start shopping for an agent. That's the next step for me. (Well, the next step is just to print it out and try to put it in order and figure out what's missing and what I need to toss. I have a lot more respect for authors of long works, having done NaNo twice now and finding it so hard to keep track of stuff, like names and action and even themes. It's ridiculous.)

I can't imagine writing something that long. It takes me enough time to write short, little things. But how exciting for you.

It was exhausting, but fun in a masochistic way. I think my next step is to work out 31 days in a row, hehe.
