Watching all the awful things my flisters and family have been dealing with lately makes me realize, even more, how blessed I am. Yes, I work hard and try to be a pretty good person, but I'm extremely lucky, I know.
I feel for all of you dealing with so many things, loss, ill health, frustrations and financial crisis. It *is* even harder this time of year to deal with life's challenges. I wish I could do more than send virtual hugs.
In the meantime, the three sisters are happy to be sitting together in Clatskanie at Humps Restaurant, all blogging with the free WiFi. Charlie and I are giving Sue a used laptop for Christmas, so she can use one for her writing and blogging. We had a nice drive here, a nice lunch, and now we're just having a little coffee.
Later we're going to go to the almighty Walmart for some last-minute holiday shopping (omg). We had planned to take Shari to the Grotto for the Festival of Lights and to celebrate her b-day, but we haven't been able to reach her.
It's hard to believe I don't have to go to work for a couple weeks. I have much fanfic to write, but other than social obligations and a couple little projects I need to monitor for work, I'm at my leisure. It's a weird feeling!
