But instead I got caught up in using my new dvd recorder, finding out how to edit titles and put in chapter marks.
It took me about 45 mins to mark all the spots I wanted to be able to find in Public Enemies.
This morning I wrote an entry for our 'official' blog about my visit yesterday to Chuk Barber's samba class, and tonite he commented to it! I was so pleased. The visit was uplifting and meaningful for me . . . a man who really is inspired to make a difference and is empowering kids to find their identities through music. He rescued 20-some drums from Katrina and drove them here in a mini-van, and now he uses them in his teaching. And, man, is he talented.
Colin just came over to tell me to get to bed. Probably a good idea . . .
ETA: Just checked my work calendar and noticed that I have the fewest Friday meetings of the year 2010 tomorrow--only two! Woohoo! Maybe I'll really get something done and be able to take Saturday off. It's supposed to be beautiful weather here (again!), and I want to drive to the beach. (Yes, I'm supposed to be going to Kelly's engagement bash Saturday night, but they can get on without me.)
