So I tweeted for the first time tonight. I already had more than 100 followers on Twitter and I hadn't tweeted once. So now I tweeted twice, once about a local news item, once about tennis. Oh, and I re-tweeted something from Roger Ebert, because Charlie told me to. I got ten or so new followers.
I tweeted that I couldn't believe Clijsters had just lost to Kleybanova at Indian Wells, choking away the third set tiebreak. And I can't. Yeesh.
Today I did an entry for our official blog, and I worked on my 'other blog,' the one I'm going to start linking to my tweets.
How does a person keep all this organized? I guess I should be able to do it if anyone can!
I'm supposed to be working on the script and agenda for tomorrow's board meeting, but since the topic of the meeting is Communications and the longest session is on Social Media, the whole thing is work. In fact, when you think about it, considering my job is Communications and my hobby is blogging and writing, it's all one and the same. The lines blur . . . as usual!
I'll be glad when the board meeting is over . . . and then I can concentrate more on the
move. Today we re-measured file cabinets, trying to figure out where we're going to put three of them that now don't fit in the new space. And I ordered more boxes from the mover. And I need to get rid of some furniture, like my big TV with the dvd and cassette player.
Yes, it's boring. It bores me to write about it, much less read about it. But it is what it is
, as I used to say all the time. Let's concentrate less on the mundane and more on what my new window on the world will be, starting Friday!
