Clown Showcase & Graduation turned out GREAT today! I was so pleased. I wish more people had attended, but overall it did not disappoint.
And Charlie helped me unload or store about eight huge boxes that had been dropped off at the office on Saturday. Videos and dvds and other historical stuff. My huge storage unit holds a lot; in fact, I have more storage than I had before, ironically. We just got home around 11:30pm. I wanted to be sure the boxes were gone before Dick sees my office for the first time tomorrow.
I spent an hour or so finding the rest of my tax information; I'm FINALLY
going to get my taxes done tomorrow. This is so much more like me. A couple years ago I did my taxes waaay early, and I found it disconcerting.
Plus, I learned Friday that my re-finance finally came through! It took months. I'm supposed to sign papers tomorrow. So it's going to be a big day on the personal front. I'm humbly happy to be getting my 5%, plus enough cash out to get the house painted and the family room carpeted; I had coffee with Ron on Friday and heard about how he's been working for a year to try to restructure his horrific home loan, which is something like 12.8%! And he's been unemployed for seven months and is more than a month behind on his ridiculous payment. If he doesn't declare bankruptcy, he could lose his house.
There but for the grace of God, as they say . . .
Anyway, it's time for bed. The Portland rain has returned, and I'm feeling sleepy! 'Night all!
