Patience is a Virtue . . .

Note to self: Be patient. Talk slowly, be helpful, be warm. Not everyone learns at the same speed or has the same aptitude for technology.

How can I get it across to a new employee to take ownership of a project, no matter how much he needs to scrape to do it?

And now the chairman is going on medical leave, and I've found a way to get him some help from a really dedicated volunteer. In the meantime, I'd better get up to speed myself ASAP.
