Happy Halloween, guys and ghouls.

The sun is out here in Portland, my hair is washed, and I need to get to the store and buy candy for the trick or treaters. I also need to find a nice card for Ashley and take it down to the office for her to find tomorrow. I already have one for Laura. Tomorrow is their first official day as full time staff members, and since I won't be there, I want them to both know I'm thinking of them. They've both waited a long time--Ashley two years and Laura three.

I just do not have time to work today, even though I need to. That's all there is to it.

I've been trying to write my wacky Twilight/Public Enemies crossover, but I don't seem too inspired. There are days when I just cannot write a word, period. Actually there are weeks, hehe.

Hope all my flisters will have a great day, whatever they're celebrating. Be safe and have fun!

Hey, luv! If you finish that intriguing crossover, you can post it any time in the remainder of 2010. I never turn away good entries just because the date on the calendar says it's past Halloween! :)

I just may do it . . . this morning I had a wild dream about Dillinger and his gang taking over our office. I think that came from reading a story yesterday and trying to write one.

Dreams can be the best inspiration! :)

Happy Halloween! and how thoughtful to leave cards for them :)

I just got BACK from buying candy and was feeling the -

umm wait! I think I am paying MORE for waiting and have less selection?!

Then I found some wonderful peanut butter kisses for 90 cents a back and went YAY! -- Cause I love a deal and hey if any is left I LOVE that candy too LOL

I hope you had a splendiferous Halloween.

We don't get any trick-or-treaters around here. It doesn't stop me from buying candy, though.

We got fewer than 50 this year . . . most of them were Hispanic, black or Asian, which says a lot about the neighborhood. Very cute, most with two parents. Charlie took some cute pics and posted them to her blog.
