Finally finished my story for this week's Challenge. Suffice it to say that it took longer to subtract words than to write them. The word count is definitely the hardest part for me. And the suckiest thing about it is: I never seem to write the full-length story once I finish the one for competition. I *will* finish The First Journal someday, that I'm absolutely sure about.

This one: It's good enough the way it is. 'Good enough' will have to do. And that's all I'm gonna say about it.

Still gotta go wash my hair . . . there's so much else to do, I can't even count it all. But the story's done at least.

Dear Mistress Marilyn,

I adore your fics. I used to be a regular visitor to Camelotslash, every know and then in order to check on updates. My favorite piece was The Vessel. Oh...how I adored it! It was such an unique and special plot. Many slash fiction stories contain the same plot, the same theme. Boy falls in love with boy, etc. But in this story, the notion of owing a debt and paying it in such manner. It was just so original. And the steamy scenes. Sigh...lovely. Well, I continued checking and checking but, it seems that this web site has been abandoned. There has not been any updates since 2006. I would like to know then, is this the end of The Vessel? Have you continued the fic somewhere else? Have you been writing other fics?
Regardless, I truly love The Vessel. Maybe, you will no longer continue it, which saddens my heart but I shall understand.

Thank you. I did not know how to write to you, unaware whether the camelotslash email is even working. So, I decided to write here. If you like, please email me at hikoro_sukiyama@yahoo.com

Thank you!

Hi, Hikoro! I emailed you at the address above. I hope to finish "The Vessel" in the near future . . . your comment gives me incentive! Thanks for writing, if you happen back here to look at this post.
