Mistress Marilyn's POV
No shit, Tempus Fugit!
Sundown of a Dream (Agassi's, that is)

I'm not going to do the "if only he had held that break in the third set, if only he had gotten it to a fifth and gotten the crowd excited, blah, blah, blah."

He played well, and I'm proud to be an Agassi fan (unlike the way I felt 15 years ago, when he first faced Sampras in the final). He talks like he'll never be back (and maybe he won't), but who knows? Y'gotta live for the moment, and this is a good one.

Anyway, I had to use this play on words to link to my latest drabble for ka100, Sundown of a Dream. Thanks, Bri brn_gamble, for the photo link. It's just what I wanted.

So, watched the match, wrote and posted a drabble, and now it's time to get the car washed and clean up my closet so I'm not faced with chaos when I head back to work tomorrow!

Agassi played well. Brian was beside himself, but he had unrealistic expectations (no matter how much I warned him). Your drabble was amazing. Just fucking amazing.

No kidding! It was one of the best drabbles I've ever read -- and I loved the use of the song lyrics. (I'm a huge "Camelot" fan!)

Love,

Bri

Yeah, me, too! He was amazing. I'd have loved to see him win, but I'm happy he was there in the finals and played so damn well.

He might need to seriously consider retiring, as much as I love seeing him play. (And play and play!) I want him to be able to enjoy his life -- his wife and family.

Anyway, it was a great U.S. Open!

Love,

Bri
