No shit, Tempus Fugit!
Yay! Weekend (better late than never)

Got finished with work at right around 5:00 p.m. today. So, now I need to go grocery shopping (one of my least favorite tasks).

Tomorrow we need to decide what we're wearing to the auction (which is just a week from tonight). The theme is 'Rock 'N' Roses' so just about anything goes. Still, it's a pain to decide.

Nominating interviews went wonderfully today. We have fantastic candidates for our board this year, and that's exciting. (And three of them are under 30, so that's great! I still have a hard time thinking of myself as part of the 'older' demographics.)

I started the book for our book club, 'The Kite Runner.' It's set in modern Afghanistan, so I'm sure it's going to be difficult to read. But the writing is good for a first person, and I have to admit I care about the story already.

No topic has been posted for ka100 yet, so maybe I'll work on something else fanfic-wise if I get a minute.

Guess who? Don't be too shocked!

I can't face some book set in Afghanistan. I have a hard enough time sitting down to read these days...

Book club? Do you think it would be fun to have a LiveJournal book club? I could go for that. (I might even read the book if others were into the idea here.)

I'm going to try some drabble communities as a way to get back to writing again! I really miss it.

And all of you online friends, too!!!

No kidding. Like you'd willingly read a book!
