I've even started my table of contents and added my dedication, and I'm up to 34,000 words.
Today I got 3500 done, much of it re-writes and add-ons.
I need to get another 3000 tomorrow, but I have some other stuff I must do. Nail appt., need to run to the pharmacy, get the smoked turkey from Honey Baked Ham for Thanksgiving (and beyond), and get out of the house.
Wednesday is already planned, and maybe we'll go to Harry Potter again on Thanksgiving!
I can't believe I only have 16,000 words to go, and suddenly it seems like it's not nearly enough. We're already making plans for next year, how we'll do this so much better. I've never mentioned that the community Charlie set up for our NaNo projects saving my life. It's really keeping me organized. Right now I have 30 chapters done, plus that table of contents.
We both donated and got our halos, but we were too late to order t-shirts, and we're bummed about it. I can't wait to get my poster! It says 'This Fall Let Your Imagination Rain.' Considering the setting for my novel is Portland's famous Rain Fete, it's just perfect for me.
- I feel:satisfied
- I hear:Carson Daly repeat (God, does he ever work?)
