Just spending the day enjoying my leisure, playing Zuma, watching old movies -- and eating, of course!
Last night we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant with Sue, and she managed to eat a few tiny bites. But she ended up getting sick. She's one of the small percentage of people who have had the bypass surgery who have issues with keeping food down. She's not getting enough nutrition to keep a bird alive. But her g.p. says what's happening with her is miraculous, because dropping the weight is definitely having a positive effect on her other health issues.
It's so strange that the very nutrition we crave can kill us if we get too much . . .
Well, those thoughts didn't stop me from having bacon and eggs for brunch.
No, I didn't go to the track today, so I'll have to do the treadmill tonight while I watch the closing ceremonies and the finals of Dancing With the Stars. I only worked until 12:30 or so yesterday, and I had a wonderful time with Kelly there. And Adrian came, which was wonderful. I hadn't seen her since New Year's Eve. Since I talked to Dani on Friday, that's three of my four girls in two days.
I miss them so much.
Adrian's doing the 15k and Kelly's walking the Shamrock Run. That's two weeks from today.
