Mistress Marilyn's POV
No shit, Tempus Fugit!
Time flies when you're --

Is it already May 7? Yikes.

The re-dedication of Vista House was WONDERFUL. Every minute of the experience was lovely, from meeting that warm, sunny morning and chatting with all the waiting people while we admired the amazing antique cars, to the wonderful drive through Troutdale and Corbett, to the actual dedication itself, listening to the Governor and the ODOT director (hehe, I wanted to have a "robust" discussion with him, as he mentioned in his speech, but he disappeared). It was so special, I'll never forget it. As usual, I felt grateful to be alive.

I worked until 7:00 on Friday, and then was a bit sick Friday night and a little under the weather yesterday. But we still managed to go see the new 'Mission Impossible' movie (I especially liked the kidnapping in the Vatican -- very 'old school' MI) yesterday.

I'm not sure if I'll work today or not. If I don't, it will be my last free weekend until June 24. (That just about convinced me, especially since I only have one meeting tomorrow.) This coming week has both an Executive Committee meeting and our spring board meeting, and I have to do presentations for both. I have my singers and my film dudes coming for the social hour after the board meeting, so that will be quite a treat.

And, lest we forget, 'The New World' comes out on DVD Tuesday. That's a big WOOHOO.

I think you've earned the entire weekend off. (If just for being so nonchanlant and courageous during this recent bout of illness!) And after all, it will be a while until the next one!

I. Loved. It.

"Mission Impossible" just rocked my socks. (smile) You know, I can't wait to go see it again!

And I can't wait to get "The New World" on DVD. Yipee!

I must blog Vista House, with photos!!!
