I certainly know how it feels to kick off your event with a rainy day. Luckily for us it doesn't 'suspend play.' I can't believe I had the 2005 men's final on in the background TWICE today! What a disappointment.
It's at least 100 degrees right now. It was 101 yesterday, and it's 5:00 p.m. right now, so we'll probably get to 101 or 102. It's freakish for us, but then the world's weather is freakish for a reason (and we knew that before Al Gore made a movie).
Coded bills and did a radio interview today (which lacked my usual energy, I'm afraid). And that's about all I accomplished. I didn't even start on the Duathlon bills . . . I've got to get to those tomorrow.
Last night we watched the DVD of the making of the videos for 'Never Gone.' Sad but sweet. I wish they had released the third single/video here in the U.S., but I'm sure there are good reasons for the idiotic decisions that BSB has made for the past six or seven years.
ETA: It got to 102, the hottest Portland day in June in history. Whew!
