Rafa comported himself very well in the final today. He should have won that second set, and then who knows what would have happened. As it was, I was happy he got a set and happy he broke back once in the fourth. I was worried after the opening set blowout. (And I loved the low-five between Rafa and Roger during the trophy ceremony. Wonderful!)
Anyway, on to the wonderful U.S. hardcourt season, my favorite tennis time of the year. We'll see what happens at the U.S. Open.
Gotta do bills today and get my head ready to go back to work tomorrow. The bad news: This is a killer week upcoming, with lots of auction work to do, the Coronation wrapup meeting, flash reports due on Thursday (!) and Pinnacle Award entries due next Tuesday. The good news: I start my four-day-a-week schedule now. And, it's summer.
Gotta mention in here how thrilled I am with FatJoey's 'Hart's War' fanfic, Tommy's Peace. It was a long time coming, but it was worth it.
ETA: We 'played tennis' today, and it was the first time for me in three years or so! Woohoo!
